OBJECTS OF THE CLUB
To stimulate interest in gardening To assist members to develop their gardening knowledge To arrange any other activity of interest to the members
ACTIVITIES
The club meets on the last Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm in the small hall except August and December. A varied and interesting programme of speakers is enjoyed, very often with slides to illustrate the subject of the talk.
The July meeting usually takes the form of a members and guests BBQ. An Annual Produce Show is held each year with members and open classes. The 2007 Show is on Saturday 18th August in the halls.
Visitors and New Members are made very welcome to this friendly and informal club which includes experienced and ‘new’ gardeners, with large and pocket size gardens and some with window boxes and tubs. |
